Logo Design

I chose to do something simple, yet graceful. I more than definitely wanted to use my initials, but I got inspired to overlap them on top of each other from an example I saw. I decided to add the name of my company under my logo because I want the customer to know who is working for them. :)

Expressions!

These are just a few words that describe me. I tried to eliminate as much space as possible, but after a while I couldn't think of any other words to describe myself, even though I know there are plenty more. I emphasized emotional with an arc shape because, just like anybody, my emotions are like a roller coaster at some point, so with the arc I figured it would give that effect. I also emphasized the weird with the "d" falling off to show that I'm not all there sometimes and I can be quite strange. :) I boxed the "sports addict" section because sports are insanely important to me. I adore all those teams in the brackets and I actually DO know a lot about sports. More than a typical girl. Not bragging, but guys don't believe it usually. For my last word that I emphasized, I chose to do "English Nerd." English is personally my favorite subject. I love reading, doing essays (blah I know, weird:)) and I hope to pursue a career in writing, so yeah!

Gumball Machine

This took about 20 years to make, but overall I'm pretty satisfied.

Vector Effect

Blah. I'm not too crazy about this. I found this tutorial to be extremely difficult, but I pulled through. Ashley-1 Technology-0. :D

McDonald's Sign

This was actually really hard to make. Seems pretty easy, but it was insanely difficult. I used the pen tool for the arch and then used the envelope distort option (we have yet to learn about this) for the trapezoid under the McDonald's text. Everything else was the basic tools, such as, the rectangle tool and the line tool. As well as the text option. I really didn't enjoy this tutorial, but I'm beginning to like Illustrator a lot more. :)
